Critical reading and writing class

EF L5 (PreK-G1)

This camp will introduce the young learners to the joy of dramatic interpretation. They will be exposed to pantomime skits and short plays.


CRW L1

Folktales will be taught through drama and songs. The focus will be on understanding the different folktales and the reasons behind each one. Students explore character and storytelling by writing and performing their own versions of fairy tales


CRW L2

Mythology will be the focus of this camp. They will read and analyze myths and then use this knowledge to create their own short plays. 


CRW L3

Murder Mystery

Students will work daily on solving a murder. They will utilize their critical thinking skills to determine “who done it”. They will work together to produce a play and write in response to their discoveries.

n order to continuously improve the quality of our enrichment class, we are more than happy to announce that New Concept Academy will partner with 7EDU on “Critical reading and writing courses” in the spring semester of 2023.

7EDU is a K-12 technology-driven educational institution dedicated to cultivating the next generation of global citizens through pedagogy, research, and mentorship. They specialize in adaptive teaching and online K-12 personalized education solutions. In addition, their courses cover primary and secondary grades, strategic test preparation (SAT, ACT, AP, etc.), and college admission counseling.
